Select a hand wheel: use aluminum for durability and plastic (composition) for reduced heat transfer.

Select a seal and packing material:

- EPDM for general applications, temperatures -20 ํF to 350 ํF

- Viton for superior resistance at elevated temperatures -15 ํF to 400 ํF

- Hypalon for superior acid resistance at temperatures -20 ํF to 450 ํF

- Teflon for best chemical resistance, temperatures up to 400 ํF

- Graphite for superior service at elevated temperatures.
